Campaign Against
Immigration Controls and No One is Illegal have called for a leafleting
of the demonstration of the GMB union against the use of labour brought
over from Europe at lower rates of pay than would be paid to British
workers to do work in Britain on the anniversary of the "British Jobs
for British Workers" strikes in 2009. Whilst BJBW is not the official
slogan of the demonstration and there are some legitimate concerns
about what the bosses are doing - what's new!! - the Daily Star (!!!)
has promoted the demo on an anti-migrant basis, BJBW ideas will be
current amongst union activists, and the demo has certainly not been
called on an Equality for All/internationalist we're all in this
together basis. "Anti-foreigner" feeling will be high, official or not.

Our leaflet entitled "Workers of the World Unite! Equal Pay, Equal Conditions, Equal Rights" is there to challenge that.

The rally starts at 12.30pm in Old Palace Yard which is about 2
minutes walk away. We need a few of us cos it will be really lonely in
a sea of quite a lot of hostility.

and
Demonstrate against forced deportations- Wed Feb 3 5.30pm
On Wednesday, African men women and children currently brutally
imprisoned in Britain,s racist "detention centres" will be forced on to
coaches for the first "Joint European Union Charter" flight to Nigeria.
Defying even its own minimal g delines, the UK government is dumping
people back into a country from which many have fled to escape the
nightmare violence in the Niger Delta, and the deadly conflict along
the country's faultline between Christian and Moslem communities. Nor
are they only Nigerians. They are ordinary people fleeing
nightmares from all over West Africa!
